Advanced: home app platform
PME Edge is the default path — invite people to things on your LAN with one app. This page is for operators who also run a Kubernetes home cloud (Talos cluster, ShareAList, vault, docs, and related ws-* apps).
When to use this path
- You want shareable web apps on a home cluster, not just NAS/printer IPs
- You are comfortable with Incus, Talos, Windsor contexts, and multi-repo deploys
- You may still use PME Edge for VPN + invites instead of a separate VPN VM + wg-easy
Where to read more
- ws-sovereign-home — orchestration hub (task home:up, family bundle)
- NUC & mini PC setup — Incus host preparation (still valid for cluster hosts)
- Bootstrapping guides — detailed hardware walkthroughs
The main site onboarding tracker focuses on PME Edge. Cluster deploy steps are documented in ws-sovereign-home runbooks (e.g. thirty-minute deploy) until a dedicated product page ships.
